Today, it's the opening of Konami Cup Asia Series. This yearly baseball contests are played between the Champions in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and the Chinese national team. It is a highly anticipated event in Taiwan because the regionization of sport is common in Europe, yet rare in East Asia.This year the four contestants are Chunchin Dragons from Nippon Professional baseball, Sk Wyverns from Korean Baseball Organization, Uni-President Lions from Taiwan and Chinese national team.
While posting this article, the first game between Uni-President lions and China Star(Chinese national team) has just finished. Although the Lions grabbed the game, it is quite frustrating to see them allow 16hits to China Star(generally speaking the weakest team) . The only thing I dare to hope right now is at least they can try their best when facing Chunchi Dragons(The strongest).
